Spanish IT Vocabulary – Spanish dictionary for IT professionals

English Reloaded – IT Vocabulary Upgrade is a focused, outcome-driven course for engineers, product managers, QA specialists, designers, data analysts, DevOps, project and team leads who already have A2+ Spanish and want to upgrade their professional vocabulary toward a confident B1/B2. If you work in tech, collaborate with Spanish-speaking teammates or clients, or prepare to enter Spanish-speaking markets, this program gives you the precise lexical toolkit you need for daily communication, documentation, stand-ups, demos, stakeholder updates, and negotiations.

Instead of abstract word lists, you will work with the language of real product development: from roadmaps, backlogs, and feature launches to UX research, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, test automation, data privacy, KPIs, growth funnels, funding, SLAs, and legal clauses. The vocabulary you learn is modern, practical, and aligned with how international teams actually talk—acronyms, domain terms, set phrases, and collocations that appear in tickets, PRs, sprint notes, dashboards, and investor decks.

Who is this course for? For tech professionals entering Spanish-speaking projects; for founders preparing pitches or discovery calls; for PMs and leads who must align teams across countries; for QA, data, and security specialists who need precise terminology to reduce ambiguity and risk. If you already handle everyday Spanish but struggle to talk about production incidents, OKRs, dependencies, or compliance in a nuanced way, this course bridges that gap with clear explanations and task-focused practice.

What will you achieve? You will master around 200 high-impact words and expressions frequently used in modern IT and startup environments. You will recognize the intent behind acronyms (MVP, SLA, DPA, MFA), confidently choose the right term for requirements, risk, and scope, and speak about design trade-offs, delivery constraints, and product outcomes with professional clarity. You will also learn phrase patterns for email and chat—how to request alignment, clarify ownership with RACI, negotiate scope without derailing timelines, and report status to executives concisely.

How the course is structured: the program is organized into 15 thematic modules that mirror real roles and workflows: Product, UX, Agile, Communication, Engineering and DevOps, Cloud and Infrastructure, QA, Security, Data, Front-end and Mobile, Backend and APIs, Marketing and Growth, Sales and Investment, Legal and Contracts, Remote Work and Cross-cultural Collaboration. Each module focuses on 10–15 crucial terms and collocations, paired with authentic tech scenarios so you see exactly when and why a phrase is used. Short mini-texts and micro-dialogues simulate tickets, meeting notes, incident reports, and product updates.

Practice and assessment: every module ends with a quiz to check understanding and reinforce key concepts. Questions require careful thinking about meaning and usage, not rote recall. By the final quiz, you will be able to navigate discussions about delivery, quality, privacy, metrics, and strategy using accurate, natural-sounding language. Progress is cumulative: later modules recycle earlier vocabulary to help you retain and combine terms across domains.

Learning approach: we emphasize clarity, brevity, and real-world applicability. You will compare near-synonyms (issue vs. incident, metric vs. KPI), distinguish scope from capacity, and learn how small wording choices affect perceived responsibility and risk. You will also encounter practical templates for updates, risk flags, and decision records—making it easier to apply vocabulary immediately at work.

Prerequisites and study plan: the course is ideal for learners with A2 or higher Spanish, comfortable with basic grammar and everyday communication. Allocate 15–25 minutes per lesson, 2–4 lessons per module, plus a short quiz. Expect to see recurring patterns across modules so the language sticks. The complete course can be completed in 4–6 weeks at a steady pace, or faster for intensive learners.

Outcomes you can expect by the end: you will speak about scope, risks, trade-offs, and value in clear, professional terms; write tickets and updates with precise vocabulary; understand meeting notes, specs, and contracts more confidently; and collaborate more smoothly with Spanish-speaking colleagues, clients, and investors across product, engineering, and business contexts.

Why this course? Because it respects your time and focuses only on what matters in modern tech teams. No outdated expressions, no fluff—just the vocabulary that powers real conversations in startups and enterprises today.

I’m Alan — originally from Norway, but for most of the year, you’ll find me soaking up the sun in southern Spain. I spend about nine months here, and when summer comes around, I head back north to enjoy the fresh air and long days of the Norwegian coast.

I’m a big fan of fishing, sailing, and slow mornings with strong coffee. In Spain, I organize casual speaking clubs for English-speaking neighbors — we get together to chat, laugh, and figure out what on earth the locals just said.

That’s why I started creating these courses: to help fellow learners go beyond textbook Spanish and get to the good stuff — the phrases, expressions, and cultural hints that make real conversations click. My goal is to help you feel more connected, more confident, and maybe even a little more local.
